Noto for iPhone

Noto is a simple, intelligent app that helps you remember the people you meet (names, faces, where you met them) without feeling like traditional note-taking, and it can notify you when you revisit a familiar place like a coffee shop, coworking space, or conference venue. The goal is a clean, minimal, warm design that combines the simplicity of tools like Notion or Apple Notes with the personality of a social memory tool, making it fast and easy to add new entries while keeping the experience clear and intuitive.

The app is designed for fast, effortless entry of new contacts so you never get stuck fiddling with your phone while networking. You can also add short context notes like Met at the local coffee shop or Shared a coding workshop with Alex to keep memories clear and searchable. The focus is on speed and ease, letting you capture connections naturally without interrupting the moment.

All key controls are placed at the bottom, making actions quick and easy without awkward gestures or reaching across the screen.
The app uses Notion-inspired illustrations and a light, airy design to stay subtle and ambient, keeping the focus on your tasks without distraction.
Avatars and placeholders use varied shapes to add visual interest and make the interface feel more dynamic.

Disclaimer

This is a spec project: every so often I take on real briefs from platforms like 99designs to practice, try new directions, and step outside my usual work (the client and objectives were real, though the app name has been changed). In this case, what drew me in was the topic itself, since I use habit trackers myself, the chance to explore the new Liquid Glass components in iOS 26, and the brief's request to keep things minimal.
